Here’s a behind the scenes look at the production of the artwork for the single ‘Escape’ which was released on the 2nd January 2026. The incredible artwork for the cover was created by Axell Mejía and is a homage to Thin Lizzy’s classic album cover for ‘Jailbreak ‘. That cover adopted a comic book style with its ‘War Of The Worlds’ vibe and its prison ‘Escape’ visual narrative so it felt like a natural fit to add a little Broken Gods twist and Axell nailed it!

Intergalactic rock renegades Broken Gods return at full throttle with their new single “Escape,” taken from their forthcoming second album. A ferocious throwback to the raw power of Motörhead and AC/DC, the track fuses classic hard rock grit with a sharp, modern edge.
Set against the backdrop of a man trapped in the confines of lost love, “Escape” plays out as a metaphorical prison break — a battle against emotional walls, regret, and self-imposed chains. As the band’s heroes fight to outrun their own feelings, the song surges forward on blistering riffs, pounding drums, and an unstoppable sense of urgency.
Loud, fast, and unapologetic, “Escape” is Broken Gods at their most direct and dangerous — a no-holds-barred rock anthem built to be played at maximum volume.
“Escape” is available on 2nd Jan 2026.

Here’s a behind the scenes look at the production of the artwork for the single ‘Temper’ which was released on the 14th November 2025. The incredible artwork for the cover was created by Axell Mejía and is a homage to Queens classic single cover for ‘Bohemian Rhapsody ‘. We wanted that classic rock style that embodied Queens iconic cover but with a Broken Gods twist and Axell hit the ball out of the park with this one.

This week we visited Mighty Media Discs as we over saw the pressing of the first album on vinyl. Incredible to see how a digital file is taken and imbedded into a metal disc before being pressed into a single vinyl disc that then plays on a record player. I still can’t get my head around how it all works without thinking there is some kind of witchcraft involved. What’s more amazing is that this technique was first devised in 1857 and the process isn’t a million miles from what is was back then.

Check out the vibrant blue that we chose to give the album that extra visual punch.

THE RISE OF THE REGULAR RELEASE

Lately, I’ve noticed a growing trend among artists — instead of dropping a full album all at once, many are releasing a series of singles over a short period of time before the album finally lands. It makes a lot of sense, especially for emerging bands, because it’s all about maintaining momentum and keeping listeners engaged.

When we released “Gonna Be Your Man,” we saw this effect first hand. With a bit of promotion, some playlist placements, and a steady push on socials, our monthly listeners jumped up significantly. But after a few weeks, as the playlists rotated and listeners moved on to newer tracks, the numbers naturally started to drop again.

The hope, of course, is that some of those new listeners stick around and dive into your back catalogue — but the reality is, to keep that energy alive, you’ve got to keep releasing new content regularly.

So, from 14th November, we’ll be putting this strategy into action and releasing music on a more consistent basis, starting with our next single, “Temper.”

Let’s see if the theory works…

Releasing on the 14th Nov 2025 – “Temper” is the explosive opening track from Broken Gods’ upcoming second album — a thunderous statement of intent from the intergalactic rock band. Leaning heavier and darker than their previous single “Gonna Be Your Man,” this track sees Broken Gods fully embrace their hard rock roots with roaring guitars, pounding drums, and a chorus built to wake the dead.

Recorded at Damage Audio Studios in Summer 2025, Broken Gods teamed up once again with acclaimed producer Ben “Faz” Farestvedt (The Blockheads, Don Broco, Sarpa Salpa), capturing the raw power and precision that defines their signature sound.

Check out the first look at the single’s striking artwork, which comes from Axell Mejía, the Mexican visual artist fresh off his collaboration with Twenty One Pilots, delivering a bold visual companion to the track’s unrelenting energy.
